Director - Ms. Crystal
Hello, my name is Crystal Corkern. I was born and raised in Lompoc, California. I graduated from Cabrillo High School in 2001 and attended Allan Hancock College for my degree in Science (Early Childhood). I am a mother of two wonderful children. Both keep me very busy and young but are my pride and joy of my life.I have been working in preschool for over 15 years. I have worked at 3 other preschool besides Grace Lutheran Preschool. Out of my 15 years teaching this will be my 11th year as a director. I am looking forward to getting to know our preschoolers and their families.
Teacher - Ms. Kathy
Hello, my name is Kathy LeDoux. I am the Lady-Bug classroom teacher. During my time here at Grace Lutheran Preschool I have been the teacher in all 3 classroom. I like to think that the children and I have grown together! I graduated from Allan Hancock with a degree in Early childhood studies and have 40 + years teaching. I feel I learn as much from the children, as they do from me.
I love working with children and I feel blessed and enjoy watching the children grow in God's Love!
Teacher - Ms. Hazel
Hello! My name is Hazel Power. I have been teaching since 1978. I love watching children learn and grow. I have 2 grown children myself, my daughter Kailene is 33 and my son Kyle is 31. I also have 3 lovely grandbabies that I love dearly.
Teacher - Ms. Amelia
Hello, my name is Amelia Chastain. I was born and raised in Santa Maria, California. I graduated from Righetti High School in 2003 and attended Allan Hancock College where I got my Associates Degree. After I graduated Allan Hancock in 2007 I transferred to Fresno State University where I got my Bachelors Degree in Child Development. I am a mother of one boy. My son keeps me very busy and on my toes. I have 10 years experience in preschool/daycare setting. Some of my hobbies include listening to jazz, making jewelry, spending time with my family, and collecting Paparazzi jewelry. I absolutely love children and love watching them learn and grow especially in the way God made them to learn and grow in Him. My favorite bible verse is Isaiah 41:10
Sub - Ms. Debbie & Ms. Teresa
Ms.Teresa is a sub and teacher's aid here at Grace Lutheran Preschool and has been with us for 3 years.
Ms.Debbie is a sub and teacher's aid here at Grace Lutheran Preschool and has been with us for 2 year.
